Concession Requirements

Antonia Baseball and Softball Association plans several activities throughout the year that we encourage teams to participate in.  Money generated from these activities help to maintain the fields and purchase new equipment.

The concession stand is another way for the non profit organization to create revenue to improve the field and keep the registrations costs down. One parent or guardian of a participating child is required to work one day (4 hour shift) at the ABSA concession stand, or during a field improvement day, in support of the association. In the event of a rain-out, it is the responsibility of the parent/ guardian to reschedule their date.

  • All rescheduling must be done through your user profile on the website.
  • Rescheduling is allowed 10 days prior to your scheduled work duty shift.
  • If you are within the 10 day window rescheduling is not allowed.

To access the work duty preferences:  Log in to the website using your email and password.  Click on your name in the top right corner of the page.  You will see your user profile, click on work duty preferences to check your date or to reschedule.  You must pick a new date first and then delete your original date.  Make sure that you only have 1 date scheduled and save the date in the system.

Concession Email contact:

  • Our concession stand is staffed entirely by volunteers. As such, it is imperative that assigned workers arrive on time to fulfill their shifts. The normal start time Monday through Friday is 5:00 pm. Weekend shifts are scheduled according to need. However, Antonia Baseball and Softball reserves the right to change the dates or start times based upon circumstance. All effort will be given to notify any workers who might be affected by any changes.
  • When selecting a work assignment date please choose wisely. Rescheduling may not be available when you realize it's a bad date for you. In the event you cannot fulfill your commitment, workers will be encouraged to find a suitable replacement. This should be a family member 18 or over or another adult.
  • Any substitution must be communicated to the concession manager.
  • No one under the age of 18 is allowed to work at the concession stand. No one other than scheduled workers and Antonia Baseball and Softball Board members on duty are allowed within the confines of the concession stand. This includes children of scheduled workers, children of Board members and field officials such as umpires.
  • All workers will be expected to perform any duties necessary including trash duty and bathroom cleaning, etc.
  • Workers are not entitled to free food from the concession stand but are permitted a non-alcoholic drink and may purchase food to be consumed after their shift or during slow periods at the discretion of the Board member on duty.
  • By agreeing to these terms during online registration you agree to the terms and conditions listed above. In the event that you do not complete your selected work duty, you authorize your credit card to be charged the fine of $150.00 or have your  deposit check cashed immediately following the missed assignment.
